UniPatcher is a free ROM patcher for Android that applies translation, improvement and other fan-made patches to compatible classic-game ROM files.
What it does
UniPatcher reads a patch file, applies its changes to the matching ROM and writes a separate output file. It patches ROM files for older game systems; it does not modify native Android games or installed apps.
Simple workflow
Keep the original file unchanged and choose a clear name for the new result.
Choose the extracted IPS, BPS, UPS, XDelta3 or other supported patch file.
Use the exact game region and revision required by the patch author.
Save a new file, run the patch and then open the result in a suitable emulator.
Visual guides
Use annotated Android screenshots to identify each file field, save the correct output and recognize the completion message.

Patch compatibility
Choose the format supplied by the patch author; renaming a file extension does not convert it.
Use UniPatcher for common IPS, BPS, UPS and XDelta3 patching tasks on Android, plus the other formats listed above. Older XDelta variants are not listed as compatible. Read the supported-format guidance before troubleshooting a file.
Beyond applying patches
Three specialist tools cover common preparation and maintenance tasks.
Build an XDelta3 patch from an original file and a modified file.
Scope: Patch creation is verified specifically for XDelta3.
Repair the checksum in Sega Mega Drive and Sega Genesis ROM files.
Scope: This tool is specific to Mega Drive and Genesis ROMs and does not create a backup.
Remove an SMC header from a Super Nintendo ROM when a patch requires a headerless file.
Scope: UniPatcher removes SMC headers; it does not add them.
